# Manage reviews from the review menu or in bulk

Open a review's **...** menu on the **Reviews** page to share it, copy its link, add media, or delete it. Turn on select mode to copy links, unshare, or delete several reviews at once. Each entry needs its own permission, and revis.io hides the ones your role can't use.

::: info Before you start

* **Who:** Owners, Admins, Members, Project Admins, and Contributors can share, copy links, and add media. Only Owners, Admins, and Project Admins can delete reviews. Reviewers and Viewers can open the menu, but only **Open notes reel**, **Favorite**, and the notification entry work for them.
* **Where:** the web app.
* **You need:** a project with at least one review.

## Use a review's menu

1. Open the project and select **Reviews** in the left sidebar.
2. Point to a review's row and select **...**. You can also right-click the row.
3. Choose an entry.

Everyone sees these entries:

* **Open notes reel** opens a pop-up with the review's comments, split into **New** and **Earlier**. revis.io's UI also calls comments "notes".
* **Favorite** or **Unfavorite** adds the review to your **Favorites** in the sidebar, or removes it.
* **Mute notifications** or **Unmute notifications** changes your own notification setting for this review.

Owners, Admins, Members, Project Admins, and Contributors also get these:

* **Share** opens the share dialog. It's hidden when external link sharing is turned off.
* **Add media**, with **Your Computer**, **Clipboard**, and **Whiteboard**.
* **Copy link** copies the review's share link.
* **Edit** opens the name and description form; see [Create and rename a review](/reviews/create-and-rename-a-review).

Owners, Admins, and Project Admins also see **Delete review**.

::: warning
**Copy link** makes a link if the review has none. That new link is view-only, with no password and no expiry date, so guests can look but not comment, draw, or download. To change that, choose **Share** instead. If the review already has a link, **Copy link** copies it as it is.

Reviewers and Viewers still see **Edit**, but saving fails with **Failed to update review**.

## Select several reviews

1. Select the checkbox icon beside the search box (**Select reviews**). A checkbox appears beside each review.
2. Select the checkbox of each review you want. To select a range, select one review, then hold **Shift** and select another.
3. Find the bar at the top of the page. It reads **N reviews selected**, with a trash icon (**Delete selected reviews**) and **More options**.
4. To leave select mode, select **Clear selection** (the X) or press **Esc**.

The trash icon is for Owners, Admins, and Project Admins. **More options** is for Owners, Admins, Members, Project Admins, and Contributors.

## Copy links or unshare in bulk

::: danger
**Unshare** doesn't ask you to confirm. Every share link of the selected reviews stops working for everyone who has it. If you copy a link for a review later, revis.io makes a new link, and the old links stay off.

1. Select the reviews, then select **More options** in the bar.
2. Choose **Copy links** to copy one link per review, one per line. revis.io shows "N links copied to clipboard". Reviews without a link get a new view-only link first.
3. To switch the links off instead, choose **Unshare**. revis.io shows "N reviews unshared".

## Delete reviews

1. To delete one review, open its menu and choose **Delete review**. revis.io deletes it at once and shows "1 review deleted" with **Undo**.
2. To delete several, select them, then select **Delete selected reviews** in the bar.
3. In **Delete Reviews?**, select **Delete**. revis.io shows "N reviews deleted" with **Undo**.
4. Select **Undo** within a few seconds to bring the reviews back.

A deleted review goes to Trash, and its share links stop working until you restore it.

## Limits

* Select mode has no bulk share, status change, or compare. Use each review's own menu, or the player.
